The New Me

I expect that if you are reading this then you already know me so we'll skip the boring stuff.

I am turning 51 this December and I will be retiring shortly thereafter.  Right now the game plan is to retire before the end of 2010 and to move to Albuquerque in mid-January.  This plan has to be fluid because there are so many factors that may change the dates.  

When I live there with my girl-spouse (M.) I plan to be a hermit the first six months...meaning no real business plans to start.  We will be spending most of our time adjusting to our new home, getting our pets to like the new home (and one another!), and furnishing the place.  

Once we've settled in we'll start looking around and deciding what it is we want to do in our retirement. We have several ideas for businesses we want to start together.  We know we want to do some volunteer work that involves pets/animals.  

I also hope to catch up on a whole lot of reading, game playing, internet exploring, and so many other things I never have time for right now.
